Kobastar Elektronik San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Kobastar Elektronik”) attaches the utmost importance to the security of personal data. Kobastar Elektronik takes all necessary technical and administrative measures at the highest possible level within the framework of applicable legislation to ensure that your personal data is collected, stored, and shared lawfully and that your privacy is protected. Being aware of this responsibility, we process your personal data as the data controller in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), as explained below and within the limits prescribed by the legislation.

Your personal data is collected electronically through the Kobastar Elektronik website for the purpose of managing web communications, requests, and complaints. Such processing is based on legal grounds including compliance with legislation and Kobastar Elektronik policies, performance of contracts, explicit provisions of law, and the legitimate interests of Kobastar Elektronik. Your personal data may also be processed for the purposes specified in this Privacy Notice, in accordance with the fundamental principles set forth by the KVKK and within the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.

Your personal data processed here is not transferred to third parties except where required by legal obligations and for the purposes stated below.

1) Identity of the Data Controller and Its Representative

The scope within which your personal data may be processed by Kobastar Elektronik San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., acting as the data controller pursuant to Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK“), is explained below.

2) Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Your collected personal data may be processed by Kobastar Elektronik for the following purposes in accordance with the fundamental principles stipulated by the legislation:

  • Complying with information retention, reporting, and notification obligations required by applicable legislation and fulfilling our legal obligations related to these services;
  • Reviewing, evaluating, and responding to requests received from official authorities or relevant individuals;
  • Managing information security processes;
  • Conducting communication activities;
  • Ensuring the security of data controller operations;
  • Tracking and managing requests and complaints;
  • Fulfilling the obligation to provide evidence in potential future legal disputes;
  • Processing personal data within the conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK.

3) Rights of Personal Data Owners Listed Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698

As personal data owners, if you submit your requests regarding your rights to Kobastar Elektronik through the methods specified in the Kobastar Elektronik San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy published on [www.kobastar.com](http://www.kobastar.com), Kobastar Elektronik will finalize your request as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires an additional cost, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be charged.

Within this scope, personal data owners have the right to:

  • Learn whether their personal data is being processed;
  • Request information if their personal data has been processed;
  • Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose;
  • Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad;
  • Request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data and request notification of such correction to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred;
  • Request the deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist, even though it has been processed in accordance with the KVKK and other relevant legislation, and request notification of such action to third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred;
  • Object to the occurrence of a result against the person arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems;
  • Request compensation for damages in the event that personal data is processed unlawfully.

If the application is rejected, the response is deemed insufficient, or no response is provided within the prescribed period, the relevant person may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board within thirty (30) days from the date of learning the response and, in any case, within sixty (60) days from the date of application. Pursuant to Article 13 of the Law, a complaint cannot be filed before exhausting the application procedure.
